Grace Bible Church
For three summers, Your Creative People (YCP) has flown a branding team out to southern California (no one found it hard to volunteer to go!), to immerse themselves in the ministry and work alongside of church planters Tim Lovegrove and Eric True in creating new branding messages and pieces for community outreach. The designers were able to partner with and immerse themselves in the ministry, gaining valuable understanding into what Grace Bible Church was all about.
During the first trip, within a matter of days, the designers on the Your Creative People mission team worked with the leadership team to identify 5 distinctives about their ministry.
1. We exist for God’s glory
2. We are committed to Christ-centeredness
3. We insist on clear, careful Bible teaching and preaching
4. We love vibrant, traditional worship
5. We strive to be a caring church family
Once those distinctives were identified, YCP designers used those statements as the foundation for what needed to be communicated through an original logo, supporting identity materials, a brochure design and a fully functional, branded web site. YCP also created standup display banners that were used throughout the rented facility.
The focus of the second trip was to start the branding work for a new church plant about 45 minutes away in the city of Rancho Cucamonga ("Rancho"). Your Creative People was able to complete the brand identity and web site for Grace Baptist Church of Rancho along with speaking on branding at the annual California Ministry Summit of church planters.
During the last branding ministry trip, Your Creative People worked exclusively on the final pieces to complete the Grace Bible Church of Rancho community outreach through print, web, e-mail, and social media.
