Your Creative People flew a team down to Winter Garden to spend a weekend immersed in the ministry. YCP photographers got to know both individual members and also the staff and took photos to capture the atmospher of the ministry and the joy that was reflective in individual faces who had experienced the transformation of the Gospel. Photos of real people, serving faithfully - and joyfully - in the work of the ministry, became one of the chief communication devices used to convey the church's message, "where the unchanging Word changes lives."

The designers at Your Creative People went to work weaving both the faces and the distinctives into the design of Calvary's outreach brochure, a simple, but clear presentation of their ministry, distributed in the community, and also into Calvary's revamped web site.

Updated Content is Key to an Effective Web Site
YCP brought another tool to Calvary's outreach: the ability to update their web site's content completely on their own through Backstage. With Backstage, the church staff was able to immediately post sermons they day they were preached, new announcements and scheduled events. A blog was tied into the site for the pastors to be able to share scriptural principles concerning relevant topics of practical life and ministry.

To wrap up the package, YCP also created Calvary's identity materials - new business cards, letterhead, and a Worship guide. These materials helped unify the look and feel of all of Calvary's visual touchpoints with both members and the community.

One of the main benefits of Calvary's rebranding was the disciplined approach that helped its leadership and people really break down the nature of their ministry into clear, portable statements that could be easily conveyed in conversation. The rebranding didn't alter the nature of the ministry; it helped clarify exactly who and what the ministry was all about to both its members and the community: seeing people grounded in the Scripture and changed into the image of Jesus Christ.
